In 1975 there was the heavyweight boxing ring championship fight between Muhammad Ali vs. Joe Frazier, billed as the “Thrilla in Manila”. 50 years later (8-15-25), we had the circus ring event, “Disasta In Alaska” between 2 different weight class fighters, Vladdy (heavyweight) & Donnie (lightweight). We know who won the 1975 fight ——Ali coined the term “rope-a-dope for his maneuvers in many of his fights. Yesterday we saw “put a rope on a dope”, a maneuver used by heavyweight Putin against lightweight Trump ! There was also another boxing bout billed as “Rumble In The Jungle”,between George Foreman & Ali, which brings to mind, “Tumble With A Dumbbell”———-😛
